Designed with a wide head section, and a tensioned batten to hold the trailing edge open, the 3.8 is fully battened (4 battens) and made from 100% Dacron, which is much tougher than transparent monofilm. The small sail area will help younger sailors to race hard while keeping better control of the boat. Much stronger than the monofilm version, it’s much better suited to beginners, schools and clubs.
